Custom designed to exact specifications using the rod taper of your selection.
Designate a Fly rod taper best suited to your freshwater angling style.
Select a Fly rod model, trim, length and tip configuration of your choice.

Rod Tapers
The Split-Bamboo rod taper digest contains several hundred archived patterns.
Fast-action (tip-flex) to Moderate (mid-flex) and Parabolic (full-flex) fly rod actions.
Reproductions of famous vintage classics and modern design for every type of casting preference.
Design
Split-Bamboo rods in production are of Hexagon (6-sided) geometry.
Individually crafted from a single, seasoned Tonkin Bamboo culm of high power fiber density.
Standard 3 x 3 node-spacing pattern fabricated with mirrored tip sections.
Custom (4) piece Fly rods to nine (9') feet also made - upon special request.
Spinning and Casting rods are available in a variety of lengths and configurations.
HollowBuilt Construction is an available option for - all - Split-Bamboo rod models.
Fly Rod Standard Features

High-gloss multi-coat marine spar-urethane finish for superior luster, lasting durability
and maximum protection from the effects of extreme heat, moisture and harmful UV rays.

- A note on fly reel seats:
The contemporary appearance and high-end features of the Lemke Concepts model LC-1 up-locking hardware (seen below) ensures a tightly-locked and secure fit of your valuable/expensive fly reel without the "wobble" that can occur from traditional slide-band or cap and ring style reel seats. Superb functionality aside, the up-locking LC-1 has a classy, clean cut, elegant design coupled with the strength and versatility of lightweight metal alloys and an exceptionally durable plating process that's hand polished to a bright sheen and will never tarnish the way Nickel Silver components do. Comparatively lighter than standard Nickel Silver cap and ring (and most locking-type seats in general), the Lemke Concepts LC-1 product eliminates concern of excess weight in a fly rod. When installed on a custom HollowBuilt blank - the result is an even lighter Split-Bamboo fly rod with considerably less "negative weight" near the grip.

The Osprey Series "RiverGuide & LakeMaster" Models
If your niche is still water angling with bait-casting rods or stream fishing with spinning gear - I can make the appropriate Bamboo rod to suit your freshwater needs. The 'RiverGuide' model is a Spinning rod, the 'LakeMaster' model a Bait-caster.
